Just Under 300 Applicants Can Bid in CBRS Auction

UPDATE Nearly 300 applicants are qualified to bid in the upcoming Citizens Broadband Radio Systems (CBRS) auction. The FCC identified 271 qualified bidders and 77 non-qualified applicants

Auction 105 will offer 22,631 Priority Access Licenses (PALs) in the 3550-3650 MHz portion of the 3.5 GHz band. Bidding in Auction 105 is scheduled to begin July 23. 

A qualified bidder must have registration materials to participate in the mock auction and to bid in Auction 105. Any qualified bidder on the list who has not received the registration mailing by noon Eastern Time (ET) on Tuesday, July 14, should contact the Auctions Hotline at (717) 338-2868. 

Each qualified bidder will be assigned to one of three mock auction dates: Friday, July 17; Monday, July 20; or Tuesday, July 21, 2020. The agency encourages qualified bidders to participate in their mock auction.

Qualified bidders must look up their assigned mock auction date using the “Assigned Mock Auction Dates” link in the Education section of the Auction 105 website at: www.fcc.gov/auction/105.
