Workforce development has been a hot topic in the industry and with the help of Roaming Networks INC, Safety LMS hopes to be able to tackle it head on.
After months of planning and content translation, our Hawaii based instructor, Jeremy Van Bronkhorst, set off on the 30-hour plane ride to Serbia. Once there, he got down to training four of their trainers in Rigging, Capstan, and Climber/Rescuer training.
The Roaming Networks trainers all had multiple years of experience but needed to focus on learning the American standards which are more strict than some of the European standards. The team was enthusiastic throughout the entire training and picked up the new information quickly.
The Roaming Networks Team will be using their training facility to have the majority of their employees’ training completed before they step foot on American soil. This will help ensure that only the best trained employees are sent to through the U.S. working Visa process, helping to fill the employee shortage that we currently have in the industry.
