The tornado that ripped through western Kentucky on December 11, left devastation in its wake. One of the hardest hit areas was the community of Mayfield, but the impact was also felt in the executive offices of Florida-based Tarpon Towers, LLC. As soon as the news hit, Tarpon was ready to get involved and give back.

Ron Bizick, Tarpon CEO told Inside Towers the tragic event hit pretty close to home for Tarpon Towers as one of the company’s business partners grew up in Mayfield. Collectively the management team came together to donate $50,000 to the town’s relief fund.

”Like we did with Hurricane Laura that hit Louisiana in late August 2020,” Bizick said, “we wanted to help those in need. Hopefully, our contribution will help those folks piece their lives back together as soon as possible.”

The Mayfield Community Foundation Tornado Relief Fund & Mayfield Graves County Tornado Relief Fund were established by local community leaders. Bizick said they are looking for monetary donations along with food, supplies and clothing. Knowing the generosity and caring support shown by the tower industry time and again, Bizick wanted to widen contributions to the stricken community that also was the headquarters home to Drake Lighting:
