TowerXchange Meetup Asia 2023 concluded its two-day conference yesterday at the Shangri-La Resort in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was the tenth annual Meetup Asia in Kuala Lumpur with over 420 delegates representing over 150 companies from 36 countries.
Sessions yesterday included TowerXchange’s Dragon’s Den, a look at how C-level executives from several towercos appraise and evaluate technology that can impact their businesses. The panel featured Nicholas Van Slyck, Vice President, Africa and Asia for SBA Communications, and Charles Green, NED and Senior Advisor, Pinnacle Towers.
The Philippines panel covered streamlining digital infrastructure investment and development within the island nation. Featured presenters were Suraj Narayanan Kutty, Country Managing Director, edotco Towers Inc Philippines, and William Walters, Chief Executive Officer, EdgePoint Towers Inc.
One of the closing events was an operations panel focusing on creating “a leaner, meaner tower managing machine” with panelists Yvonne Steele, Chief Operating Officer, Frontier Towers Philippines and Louis Booysen, Rollout Projects Manager, TeleMobile Cambodia.
