Competitive Carriers Association’s 2025 Annual Convention (“CCA 2025”) heads to Texas this fall, taking place in San Antonio at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa, September 15-17. Executives from dozens of competitive telecom carriers will participate in the event, speaking on panels and networking in the exhibit hall. Industry stakeholders looking to connect with peers in the communications service provider industry will have access to more senior decision makers from more carrier organizations than any other telecom trade show in the United States, according to CCA. Year-over-year, nearly one-quarter — 24% percent — of attendees are C-suite executives.
Unique networking opportunities have become a trademark of CCA’s fall event. Monday night’s Welcome Reception, sponsored by Syniverse, will feature a dinner buffet. Held at the resort’s indoor pavilion attendees can network with old friends and make new contacts surrounded by the beauty of the Texas Hill Country.
On Tuesday, September 16, attendees can start the morning on the right foot by participating in CCA’s 5K & 1-mile Run/Walk sponsored in part by Nokia. Whether a refreshing walk or a brisk run, attendees can take advantage of time outdoors together before the sessions begin later that morning. All registered attendees can enjoy a nutritious post-race breakfast while networking, celebrating, and connecting with fellow participants.
The exhibit hall will include companies displaying the latest goods and services, with new and returning exhibitors on hand to connect with attendees, discuss solutions, and set up future meetings. CCA events bring together a wide range of businesses from across the telecom industry. The exhibit hall offers a central space for attendees to connect and explore new ideas.
Networking opportunities will be available in the exhibit hall on Tuesday with puppies, sponsored by Hyde Company, kittens, and a teambuilding community service project. CCA has partnered with San Antonio Pets Alive! to bring furry friends to the conference and also to help raise awareness about the organization’s mission to provide homes for dogs and cats in need. CCA also has partnered with Soldiers’ Angels and will help assemble care packages for overseas service members. Attendees can help fill the bags with some of the most requested snacks and comfort items for U.S. troops.
The educational enrichment program at the 2025 Annual Convention will feature Business Development/ Marketing, Technical, and Policy themes. These roundtable discussions and panels will host executives and thought leaders who will explore competitive carrier policy initiatives, AI, marketing to diverse customer segments, fraud detection and prevention, strategic staffing solutions, and more.
On Wednesday, September 17, CCA presents its Annual Achievement Awards, which spotlight individuals and companies that have made significant contributions to CCA and the telecom industry over the course of the year. Lastly, attendees won’t want to miss the Final Fiesta with numerous games, sponsored in-part by Interop Technologies and Syniverse, a margarita bar, sponsored by Interop Technologies, and delicious Tex-Mex food. Armadillo racing, sponsored by SpaceX, and a mariachi band, sponsored by Herman & Whiteaker also are bound to be hits.
