Array Digital Infrastructure, Inc. (ArraySM) is the new name and brand for UScellular’s tower infrastructure business, the fifth-largest tower company in the United States.
Formerly UScellular Towers, Array owns 4,400 towers in locations from coast to coast, enabling the deployment of 5G and other wireless technologies throughout the country. Array [NYSE: AD] is headquartered in Chicago and is a majority-owned subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. [NYSE: TDS].
The sale of UScellular’s wireless operations and select spectrum assets to T-Mobile closed on August 1, 2025. With the launch of Array, the team continues to be focused on delivering exceptional customer service, helping their customers reduce costs and efficiently deploy their networks, according to the company.
“We are a strong, growing business, and we’re proud to connect America with critical infrastructure,” interim Array President and CEO Doug Chambers said. “We greatly appreciate our associates who worked tirelessly through the transition from being part of the larger UScellular business to a separate, standalone business. I couldn’t be more excited and confident about Array’s future.”
Existing customers, landowners, and vendors will see few changes apart from the name, Array leaders say. The company’s significant footprint, including in underserved areas, coupled with its experienced “talent and exceptional service makes Array an ideal solution for the digital infrastructure needs of wireless carriers, government agencies, broadband providers, and more.”
Array has been managing towers for over 40 years as part of the UScellular family and will continue to bring this wealth of experience to help customers meet their network demands.
“We’re excited to continue working together as a team to build upon our success and Array will continue to be a national leader in wireless communications infrastructure,” Chambers said.
Chambers leads an executive team that includes Vicki Villacrez, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer; Marci Morgan, head of finance; Coleman Prewitt, head of legal; Kate Sauvain, head of operations; and Mike Smith, head of sales and business development.
