ADB Companies LLC, a turnkey provider of telecommunications and utility infrastructure solutions, announced the acquisition of Diversified Communications Services (DCS), a wireless telecommunications company based out of California. The move is designed to expand ADB’s reach and enhance its capabilities in the wireless telecommunications market.
“Today marks a strategic milestone for our company as we announce the successful acquisition of DCS and entry into Southern California and surrounding regions. DCS’ dedication to safety, quality and customer-service completely aligns with ADB’s “ALL IN” culture. This move reaffirms our commitment to innovation and our dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions in the wireless technology landscape. As we welcome Diversified into our family, we look forward to combining our strengths and expertise. This acquisition is a testament to our commitment to providing turnkey solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers,” said Chad Johnson, ADB Chief Executive Officer.
Since its incorporation in 1988, DCS has been involved in the construction, maintenance and upgrading of the Southwest’s cellular, wireless and microwave systems for many of the region’s cellular carriers, infrastructure owners, municipalities, and utility providers. DCS is a full-service RF contractor specializing in PCS/Cellular, Microwave and In-building solutions, testing and maintenance.
Steve Hurley and Bill Shields, former owners of DCS, will continue to lead DCS’ wireless operations as part of ADB’s West Region, and have become shareholders of ADB as part of the transaction.
“We could not be more excited to join the ADB Family. We have established our reputation in the industry as a safety-first culture, with high-quality workmanship. ADB’s mission, vision, and core values are a perfect fit for our team. Finding a partner with aligned values and a shared vision was paramount to us moving in this direction. This partnership will allow us to support our customers and their build plans on an even greater level,” said Steve Hurley, Partner & President of DCS.
