The California Wireless Association  (CALWA) announced yesterday it is donating a total of $50,000 to the World Central Kitchen and the California Fire Foundation.

“It’s an honor to be part of an organization that was quick to prioritize supporting our greater California community. Our members are spread throughout this large state and feel we are one big family. This is our home. Many of us are on the front lines when disaster impacts essential infrastructure. I hope that other SWAPs will join us in supporting those that are affected by the LA fires,” Rochelle Swanson, Vice President CA Wireless Association told Inside Towers.

  • Donate to the World Central Kitchen, which partners with organizations on the ground and activates a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, it provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively.
  • Donate to the California Fire Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, which provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters and the communities they protect.
