CCA, the Competitive Carriers Association, began its annual show Tuesday. The convention in Portland, OR, located at the Oregon Convention Center, runs until Thursday, September 29. The show is designed to bring together senior decision makers from carrier organizations worldwide.
The educational program at CCA 2022, along with its networking opportunities and exhibit hall, will explore technology trends that are changing the way consumers work and live. The association says the events will provide a platform for companies to reach the lucrative competitive carrier market, which spends $15 billion annually on products and services.
Keynotes and the Annual Achievement Awards will be live streamed. This morning, September 28, FCC Commissioner Nathan Simington kicks-off the keynote program. The focus is on 5G and closing the digital divide, followed by remarks by Salim Kouidri, SVP, Technology, T-Mobile; Steve Zitnik, EVP and CTO of Interop Technologies; and Loris Zaia, VP major accounts, Mavenir.
Tomorrow, CCA will present its Annual Achievement Awards honoring individuals and companies that made significant contributions to the wireless industry over the past year. Following the Awards ceremony, David Eckard, VP of Strategy and Technology of North America, Nokia will deliver keynote remarks, followed by Mike Keegan, CEO of TNS; and Bob Chiodo, VP, Americas of Syniverse.
