Celebrating International Women’s Day

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, I am honored to recognize the incredible women who have shaped the Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum (WWLF) and the industry we serve. This day is a celebration of progress and a call to action for the future of women in wireless. WWLF has thrived because of the dedication and vision of our past presidents and leadership, each of whom has played a critical role in empowering women in the wireless industry. Their contributions remind us that progress is made through collaboration, mentorship, and a commitment to advancement opportunities.

On this International Women’s Day, I encourage every member of WWLF and our broader industry to take action. Support a colleague, mentor a rising leader, or champion women’s success in our industry. The progress we celebrate today is the result of countless individuals supporting women — let’s keep that momentum going!

In looking forward, the mission of WWLF remains clear to support, educate, and elevate women in the wireless industry. We are committed to expanding our reach, increasing opportunities for mentorship, and fostering values that empower all women to achieve their full potential.

Our upcoming initiatives continue our focus on leadership development, networking, and mentoring the future generation of leaders. Through the Fellowship Program Award, educational events, WWLF’s Mentorship Program, and industry partnerships, we will continue to break down barriers and create pathways for women to lead and thrive in the telecommunications industry. In furtherance of these goals, one year ago, we launched our Telecom Trailblazers initiative, which introduces young women to digital infrastructure and inspires them to pursue careers in telecommunications.

We are also hosting a Women in Leadership Symposium on Monday, May 12, 2025, during Connect (X), the WIA-sponsored Wireless Infrastructure Connectivity Expo. To learn more, please visit www.wwlf.org.
