After reportedly breaking and entering a tower site near Cedar Grove, WV, two men have been arrested and charged with breaking and entering and damage to utility company property, according to WOWK-TV. The arrests were aided by a K-9 detachment unit sent to the scene.
Charles Ryan Tucker, 42, of Mammoth, and Jeremy Lane Johnson, 44, of Belle, have been arraigned following their arrest and are now in South Central Regional Jail.
The charges are considered felonies, according to Kanawha County Sheriff Mike Rutherford. Deputies went to the scene, along with a K-9 squad, following notification of the disturbance and found copper wiring and other items were stolen, the Sheriff told WOWK-TV. The dogs tracked the scent of the stolen goods from the tower to a location in the woods where evidence was collected. The Property Crimes Unit Detectives then found surveillance footage of the suspects at an area business.
