NATE Announces WIN Rocky Mountain Regional Conference June 11

On Monday, June 11, NATE WIN will host the Rocky Mountain Regional Conference at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. NATE members and non-members alike are encouraged to attend this conference. The cost to attend the Rocky Mountain Regional Conference is $75 per person and includes lunch. Interested attendees are encouraged to register by completing the Registration Form on the NATE website. All completed registration forms and payments should be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to the NATE office (8 Second Street SE, Watertown, SD 57201) by the registration deadline of Monday, June 2, 2018.

The conference will begin with a National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) session on becoming NWSA certified, conducted by Stephanie Brewer, Compliance Coordinator of MUTI – Sabre Industries Telecom Services. This session will educate attendees on NWSA’s transformative and nationwide certification programs available to the communications tower industry workforce and will guide participants through the steps required to obtain NWSA credentials.  

Additional presentations at the Rocky Mountain Regional Conference include Eric Hartzler of Overland Contracting, speaking on culture and complacency as well as driving risks and safety; Tom Dover of Dover Telecommunications presenting on installing and testing fiber to the antenna; Craig Gordon of Utah Avalanche Center, presenting on outdoor survival and back-country travel; and more.
