The video highlights the industry resources available to tower crews and hoist operators to ensure that personnel hoisting activities are performed safely. Additionally, the video includes epic aerial footage of tower technicians riding the line to their designated work section of the tower.

“The riding the line technique has demonstrated time and again its effectiveness in reducing climber fatigue and susceptibility to repetitive motion injuries associated with ascending and descending towers and enables elevated workers to access their respective workstations on the tower more quickly, yet safely,” stated Aaron Paulette from Elevated Services, LLC in Carrollton, Ohio. “This video is a must watch for the entire industry as it contains valuable insight into performing the practice of personnel hoisting safely,” added Paulette.
