As part of the Association’s 25th year anniversary milestone, NATE yesterday unveiled a new logo and descriptor tag-line designed to honor the organization’s past and capture its future in the rapidly evolving communications infrastructure industry. Effective immediately, the organization will be referred to as NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association.

The Association made the announcement by debuting a NATE Brand Launch Video during the NATE UNITE 2020 Awards & Sponsorship Recognition Luncheon in Raleigh, NC.

The new NATE logo includes a custom-colored blue-green text with bright accents and is designed to represent technology, communication, connectivity and the future. The logo also includes a custom shape in the form of an A in NATE with associated graphics that represent the three grades of deployment work: above grade, at grade, and below grade.

The new tagline, “NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association,” according to NATE Executive Director Todd Schlekeway, captures the essence of the evolving nature of work conducted by the organization’s members which includes construction, installation, maintenance and services associated with diverse sectors such as broadcast and wireless macro towers, small cells, DAS systems, in-building wireless solutions, fixed wireless applications, rooftops, water towers, public safety networks, utility infrastructure co-locations, cable, fiber deployment, data centers and unmanned aerial systems.

“Today marks the beginning of a new era of excellence for NATE that will allow us to share our story with a larger audience and serve to position the Association for future growth and influence in the dynamic communications infrastructure ecosystem,” said Chairman Jimmy Miller from Gulfport, Mississippi. “NATE is simultaneously committed to our steadfast mission of safety and quality while leading the charge for an industry moving at the speed of tomorrow. NATE’s new logo and tag-line accurately portrays that vision in a big, bold fashion,” added Miller.

“It has been exciting to watch NATE grow from our humble beginnings and see how the organization has evolved over the course of the past 25 years,” stated NATE Co-Founder and former Chairman Kevin Hayden, President of Hayden Tower Service, Inc. in Topeka, KS. “I am enthusiastic about the new brand and appreciate how the current leadership of the Association is committed to staying true to NATE’s roots as an organization while maintaining a vision for what the future holds.”

After working with branding agency Caliber Creative in Sioux Falls, SD, the new NATE brand logo and tagline was approved by the Association’s Board of Directors and will not change the organization’s governance structure.
