Nsight Tower, a Wisconsin-based tower construction company, announced it has added a dedicated training tower near its headquarters to enhance education for both new recruits and experienced team members. Nsight Tower’s said the goal will be to train, observe and rehearse industry best practices for tower safety.
The 80-foot guyed tower will also allow technicians the opportunity to practice multiple types of radio and antenna installations, rope and rigging techniques, and assembly and stacking of tower sections.
“Safety is paramount in our industry and always at the forefront for our company. A training tower offers the value of being at an easily accessible location at our operations center and creates a controlled environment ideal for reinforcing safety standards on a regular basis,” said Dennis Tiede, senior tower operations manager at Nsight Tower. “We will also have the benefit of bringing in industry experts to help teach employees new techniques and skills for the ever-changing industry.”
Nsight Tower, sister company of Cellcom, is a full-service tower contractor for the installation and maintenance of structures up to 500 feet.
