Testing and measurement giant, Rohde & Schwarz will hold a free webinar on April 28 entitled: Heterogeneous Networks: “The Impact 5G Will Have on Hetnet Implementation & Testing.” The one hour event is to begin at 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time. To register, click here.
The webinar addresses how the deployment of heterogeneous networks (HetNets) that consist of macro-, micro-, pico- and femto-cells provides a solution to meeting the ever-increasing data rate requirements in 5G and beyond. The presenters will explore how this type of solution significantly improves network coverage, helps reduce power consumption, and improves overall spectral efficiency. Topics include how HetNets will utilize new technologies and new frequency bands, and will require new techniques by which to effectively and efficiently test these networks.
