What was called by the state’s governor “one of the toughest nights in Kentucky’s history” occurred last Friday when tornadoes created devastation and a death toll officials said could be as high as 80. The tornado ripped through Mayfield, KY and demolished the headquarters of Drake Lighting.

According to Drake’s Marketing Director, Kevin Klepeis all of their employees and their families are accounted for and safe. “However, our community in Mayfield is destroyed along with our headquarters and warehouse,” Klepeis told Inside Towers. “With that said, luckily for Drake Lighting we were moving to a new facility anyway, about 30 miles north of Mayfield to Paducah, KY. Our new facility location is at 2000 McCracken Blvd, Paducah, KY 42001.”

Klepeis said they hope to be fully operational by the end of this week and have been in contact with a lot of their current customers to let them know that there will be minimal setbacks as a lot of outgoing shipments were not damaged.

“A lot of our inventory was spared so we can fulfill any orders going forward and as always, our customer care teams are here to answer any questions or concerns at 270-804-7383.” He said his company appreciates all the love and support pouring in and offered a list of shelters and donation sites compiled by a local TV station that are in need of financial assistance.
