The Tower Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is encouraging all wireless industry companies and stakeholders to make an end of year tax-deductible donation to the organization prior to December 31, 2018.
All contributions to the Tower Family Foundation are granted directly to eligible tower workers and/or their families to help assist them in paying for their immediate needs and related costs that occur in the aftermath of a post-accident or fatality situation. In 2018, the Foundation awarded $168,500 in direct financial assistance and scholarships to affected families and has donated $526,000 to eligible benefactors since the organization’s launch in September 2014.
“Helping workers and their families during times of need by investing financially in the Tower Family Foundation is a great way to give back to an industry that has been good to so many companies and individuals,” stated Board of Directors Member Cliff Barbieri from Advanced Tower Services, Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. “Donations to the Foundation are are tax-deductible and the organization continues to be incredible stewards of the contributions we receive with over 97 cents of every dollar going directly to eligible beneficiaries,” added Barbieri.
Earlier this year, an accounting firm independently calculated that over 97 cents of every dollar donated to the Tower Family Foundation goes to eligible benefactors; a designation placing the Foundation among an exclusive group of non-profit organizations in the United States from a financial stewardship perspective.
Contributions can be made to the Foundation via credit card or check.

Additionally, company and individual donations that reach distinguished level donations to the Foundation will be given special recognition and promotion on the Tower Family Foundation website.
