Generating meaningful revenue growth and enhancing operational efficiency are the primary objectives being pursued by executives in the U.S./Americas tower industry. Mobile operators in the U.S. have already divested most their towers and are focused on small cell densification as they deploy LTE Advanced on the road to 5G. Some tower operators are deploying small cells and DAS systems on behalf of their MNO customers, while others have expanded overseas.
