Years ago, when Jim Schultz couldn’t find what he needed to mount antennas at pager sites, he worked on a model in his garage and came up with mounting clamps that are still used today. In 2003 he and his wife, Faith Schultz, opened Connect-It Wireless – a manufacturer and distributor of wireless site hardware.

“We manufacture steel for cell phone towers and all the hardware and miscellaneous items that go with it,” said Alisa Reed, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Connect-It. “All of our products are engineered to the most stringent building codes in the country. As the industry evolves, we are always thinking about what is coming next and the new developments in the industry and how to address them.”

Products are also engineered to fit multiple applications and fully integrate – one product can accomplish many tasks. The products Connect-It makes are designed by people who worked in the wireless telecommunication industry and understand what it takes to develop parts that are easily installed.

Steel monopole platforms and tower v-frames are two of the company’s biggest sellers, and the warehouse stocks the most integral hardware and components that are used throughout the wireless industry. Connect-It is in the process of moving from its 10,000-square-foot warehouse into a new 24,000-square-foot building across the street. The move is scheduled for March.

Connect-It’s clients range from major carriers to small contractors all over the United States, Canada, Guam and the Caribbean. Headquartered in Jupiter, Fla., Connect-It Wireless has 21 employees.
