In Memoriam
Midwest Unlimited announced the passing of Eric Wellman, the company’s General Manager for almost two decades. Wellman died Saturday, October 22 in Lincoln, NE.
“It is with great sadness that we let our Midwest Unlimited customers, vendors and friends know of the sudden loss of our General Manager, Eric Wellman,” the company said in a statement. “Eric provided unparalleled service to our Midwest Unlimited customers with fall protection, safety and rigging solutions for nearly 20 years.”
Wellman served as the NATE Wireless Industry Network (WIN) State of Nebraska Liaison for the past several years, a volunteer position that he embraced and enjoyed. The Association issued a statement saying Wellman was well-known and could be counted on when needed to serve and support NATE, NATE WIN and the industry. He was said to have missed only two annual NATE conferences and expositions in his nearly 20 years in the industry.
When not in the office, Eric was passionate about landscape and wildlife photography, and the outdoors. He enjoyed living life’s beautiful moments and capturing them on film.
Services for Eric will be Friday, October 28 at 2 p.m., Capital City Christian Church, 7800 Holdrege Street, Lincoln NE 68505.
