Join the “Gear Experts” on March 9-11 for the latest exclusive Live Training Sessions in partnership with Petzl from the Petzl Training Institute, located in Salt Lake City. Like the free educational sessions broadcasted from their facilities in California and Colorado, the training topics have been selected based on questions that the GME team frequently encounters.

Viewers can RSVP at gme.com/live to be reminded of the sessions and stay up to date on future live stream training events.

“We’re very excited to be partnering with our friends at Petzl to host our next session of our popular live stream events,” Alex Giddings, Marketing Manager for GME Supply said. “This batch of live stream sessions will put on display the expertise of the Petzl America team and cover a range of relevant topics for any worker in at-height industries.”

GME Supply and Petzl will present a different topic every day from the state-of-the-art Petzl Training Institute. The live sessions will begin at 11:30 MST each day and can be viewed on gme.com/live.

  • 3/9 – Rescue Planning for At-Height Safety Programs – Discussion of rescue plan design, equipment options, and training.
  • 3/10 – Personal Protective Equipment for At-Height Work – How does PPE increase safety and productivity on the job, compatibility considerations, PPE options and accessories.
  • 3/11 – Rope Access Techniques for Every Industry – What is Rope Access work, what gear is required, how OSHA, ANSI, and SPRAT factor in, and other rope tips and tricks.

Each session is designed to be relevant to telecom and at-height workers and can be viewed live or watched at a later date.

“Partnering and collaborating with Petzl to create another series of live stream sessions just made sense. They share our focus to keep workers safe and productive while working in at-height industries,” Giddings said.
