INCOMPAS, a trade organization that advocates for competition policy across all networks, hired Staci Pies as senior vice president of Government Affairs and Policy. She begins on June 2.

Pies comes from Crown Castle, where she was vice president of Public Policy. Under her leadership, Crown Castle established strategic partnerships that advanced digital infrastructure deployment, streamlined regulatory barriers, and created opportunities for technology and innovation, according to INCOMPAS. Her career also includes roles at Google, Microsoft, Skype and the FCC, where she shaped policies on spectrum allocation, universal broadband access and digital equity initiatives.

“Staci represents the perfect blend of broadband infrastructure knowledge and technology policy expertise that our industry needs right now,” said INCOMPAS CEO Chip Pickering. “Her unique background – spanning both infrastructure at Crown Castle and cutting-edge technology at Google and Microsoft – positions her exceptionally well to drive policies that support our members as they build tomorrow’s digital infrastructure.”
