InfiniG has announced the deployment of its mobile coverage as a service (MCaaS) solution at the Gale South Beach Hotel in Florida. Using the in-building network, guests can connect directly to their preferred mobile network.
At the Mobile World Congress in Las Vegas, NV last fall, InfiniG presented shared-network, in-building wireless technology, which integrates shared spectrum, to create a neutral host service.
The InfiniG MCaaS solution consists of advanced hardware installed on-site to provide robust mobile coverage throughout the hotel and a cloud-based platform that manages and optimizes the mobile network performance.
The InfiniG MCaaS platform integrates Airspan’s advanced RAN and Druid’s Raemis MOCN Gateways, which ensures multi-carrier support and 5G-readiness.
“Instead of relying on individual mobile network operators to provide separate infrastructures, MCaaS introduces a shared infrastructure model,” InfiniG said on its website. “This neutral host system allows multiple MNOs to offer their services on a singular, shared network within a building, ensuring comprehensive and seamless coverage for all users, irrespective of their individual network providers.”
