Greg Meese, President of the New Jersey Wireless Association (NJWA) issued a letter to its membership yesterday announcing the group gained over 400 new members in 2024. In addition, NJWA hosted five events last year: an April Educational Event on FirstNet with demos, a Golf Tournament with 300 golfers, an August Networking Social, an October Webinar on Pole Attachments, a Holiday Event featuring a Business/Technology Roadmap Seminar and a Holiday Social at the Atlantic City Hard Rock Hotel and Casino with over 600 attendees.

Meese said another highlight of 2024 was the addition of the Steven Weiss Memorial Scholarship, which was awarded to five outstanding students, all of whom are children of NJWA members. Along with the scholarship, $40,000 was raised in charitable donations for Child Care Resources and New Jersey Veteran’s Network.

Meese also announced the following for 2025:

  • Upcoming 2025 events are the Annual Golf Tournament on June 10, at Forsgate Country Club and the Annual Holiday Social on November 19, at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. This year NJWA will celebrate its twentieth anniversary with a gala scheduled in September.
  • The Board of Directors has two open seats to fill in 2025, and Meese encouraged any would-be applicants to contact him directly.
