Microwave Vision Group will be demonstrating its EME Guard family of products at NATE Unite 2022, February 21-24, in Las Vegas, featuring the EME Guard Plus, the latest Personal Protection Monitor (PPM) in MVG’s family of occupational RF Safety products.
The EME Guard Plus, which operates at 1.00 MHz – 40,000 MHz, is designed to continuously monitor and record electromagnetic frequency exposure near antennas. It is lighter weight than previous models and features longer battery life as well as extended memory capacity to enable more measurements to be recorded. The EME Guard Plus personal safety monitors are also important when performing maintenance on a specific operator’s antennas.
“The technician climbs the tower, hoping but not knowing for sure, if all the antennas have been turned off for the different wireless carriers. The EME Guard Plus has a six-point LED warning system and an adjustable audio alarm designed to alert the technician if they have reached critical exposure between 5 and 137 V/m,” said Jim Acree, Business Development Manager for Antenna and RF Safety Products.
MVG offers technology for the visualization of electromagnetic waves. Its suite of connectivity measurement systems includes applications such as base-station antenna testing, handsets, antennas, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE and 5G as well as GPS and OTA and passive measurement configurations.
“MVG is continually evolving its range of PPM, which monitors EMF radiation on site, evaluating the immediate environment and automatically comparing it to pre-determined regulatory limits,” Acree said. “Couple this with our EMF Visual electromagnetic simulation software and you will be able to accurately visualize exposure in both the near and far-field in relation to your environment.”
MVG’s booth is #506 and they welcome visitors to come to their exhibit to ask for unit demonstrations and to talk to their experts.
