GSMA plans to present two courses on understanding the policy and regulatory issues associated with 5G and how to address concerns about electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and their impact on health.

One course is entitled “5G — The Path to the Next Generation” and will begin today, August 31 (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 EDT). This four-week course covers the key aspects of 5G technology and examines the role industry, governments and regulators can play in helping unlock the benefits of future 5G services for consumers and businesses.

The other course is entitled “5G — Addressing Concerns About Radio Signals and Health.” It is designed to inform participants about EMF exposure limits for workers and the public while providing insights into the latest scientific knowledge covering radio signals and health. The course kicks off Thursday, September 1 (8:00 – 9:00 a.m. EDT).

The fee for each course is $732 per attendee and GSMA members qualify for a 20 percent discount, reducing the price to $585. To learn more or register, click here. For both courses, a free one-hour “taster” session will be provided.
