Jonathan Eastman, President at VIKOR, will be an Inside Towers Pro Panelist on Thursday, June 3 at 2 pm ET (Register here.) Eastman will share his insights around Workforce Development.
Eastman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a leader at VIKOR. He received his B.A. and MBA degrees from the University of Sioux Falls as well as an MA of Leadership degree from Lindenwood University where he is also finishing his Doctorate.
VIKOR was founded in 1989 as Sioux Falls Tower & Communications and continues under the same ownership and management today. It is a full-service wireless infrastructure construction company. Its customers include all of the national and many regional wireless carriers, public utilities, as well as wind energy developers, oil and gas, and government agencies. Most recently, as reported in Inside Towers, VIKOR assisted the Navajo Nation in building critical wireless infrastructure, providing students access to classroom resources while facilitating connections for the rest of the community, who were previously disconnected from work, school, family and healthcare.
VIKOR’s safety and training department has developed an extensive in-house curriculum that is customized to meet customer needs. On-site training towers make it easy to train new hires and to perform yearly recertifications at its facilities.
For the third straight year, VIKOR was featured on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America, with 130 percent growth in the telecommunications industry.
Prior to working for VIKOR, Eastman coached football at the college level for nine years and was instrumental in helping his teams develop brotherhood, cultural strength, winning, and championships. Throughout his career as a college athlete, coach, and executive, he has helped bring his teams to the next level. Jon has a personal passion for people, organizational and corporate development and has been a positive impact on the recent growth of VIKOR.
