The FCC is reminding carriers taking part in its Rip & Replace program their next status reports are due by January 8, 2024.
The reports are due every 90 days, beginning on the date when the FCC approved an application. The last updates were due by October 9, 2023.
The Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program, commonly called “Rip & Replace” updates the agency on a carrier’s progress to remove, dispose of and replace network gear from Huawei and ZTE the U.S. considers untrustworthy.
Recipients will submit status updates through the online supply chain reimbursement program online portal by completing FCC Form 5640 Part K: Status Updates.
Requests for confidential treatment must be submitted by filing a written request electronically in WC Docket No.18-89 in the Commission’s electronic comment filing system: https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs.
