The Tale of Two Towers

In Blawnox, Pennsylvania, residents were on board with a temporary cell tower that was installed last year because they were told it would be taken down after the permanent structure was installed. However, Sprint’s temporary pole was approved in February 2013, and SBA Communications’ main tower was installed September 2013. It’s now the end of 2014, and both towers still remain, upsetting residents because the temporary tower is unpleasant to look at. Councilman Randall Stoddard said he had spoken with SBA Communications and was also told the temporary tower will be removed. He said crews have not been in the area to perform the work. “They haven’t apparently been here,” Stoddard said. (TribLive)
