Police are investigating the theft of tower equipment stolen from three sites in Manalapan, New Jersey. On May 7, police responded to a report of a theft involving copper wiring. An employee of Ericsson reported that $350 worth of copper was stolen. Later that same day, another report was filed that $2,700 worth of batteries and copper wiring were stolen from the tower. The following day, police responded to a third tower site where an employee of Ericsson reported that $3,000 worth of batteries and copper wiring were taken from that site as well.
