When the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) meets in March, there will be some new faces at the table. An announcement by the TIA heralds the arrival of three new officers on its Board of Directors: Trevor Smith, Kanchana Raman, and John Greene.
Trevor Smith was elected to serve as the TIA Board Chair. He comes to the TIA from CommScope, where he served as Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development.
Kanchana Raman was elected as the Board’s Vice Chair. Raman comes to the TIA from Avion Networks, where he operated as the company CEO.
The Treasurer’s office will be assumed by John Greene. Greene comes to this role after serving as CEO and General Manager of New Lisbon Telephone Company.
Doug Moore, who is exiting the role of Board Chair will continue to offer his guidance as Chair Emeritus. In addition to the new officers, he also welcomed new general Board Members to the TIA ruling body.
The three new members include Annie Bogue, COO and Head of Sales and Marketing at Fujitsu Network Communications; Harrison Smookler, Vice President of Strategy and Business Intelligence at Corning; and Thao Tang, Corporate Vice President at Motorola Solutions.
