Kenneth Hill has been elected to the Telecommunications Industry Foundation (TIF) Board of Directors. Hill has over 40 years experience within the utilities and telecommunications industry, according to TIF.
As Director of Safety at Crown Castle, Hill focuses on sharing the latest safe operating procedures through a bi-monthly safety briefing titled “The Safety Department Lifeline.” Additionally, Hill has been a supporter of TIF for many years and participated in the development of the TIF White Paper on Climbing Facilities, and contributed as an author on several other TIF publications.
Hill is also a member of NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association, Safety and Education Committee and served on the NWSA (National Wireless Safety Alliance) Board of Governors and as the UTC (Utilities Technology Council) Utilisite Council Co-location Chairperson. Hill’s knowledge and dedication to safety and standards will be a valuable asset to TIF and its mission, says the group.
“Ken has always been extremely helpful in providing support to ensure that all workers are operating in the safest manner, and he has always made himself accessible and willing to share information to help educate those around him,” stated TIF Board Member Scott Kisting.
