Tower Engineering Professionals Acquires Piedmont Utility Group

Tower Engineering Professionals (TEP), a telecommunications engineering and construction services firm headquartered in Raleigh, NC, is announcing the acquisition of Piedmont Utility Group, a fiber optic and utility services company based in Mooresboro, NC.

According to TEP, the strategic acquisition will enhance its capabilities in telecom and utility construction and “solidify its position as one of the largest turnkey operators in North America.” TEP’s services include inspection and mapping services, structural and civil engineering, fiber engineering and maintenance, project and construction management, and site acquisition and survey services. TEP has locations throughout the United States and Canada.
