With operators looking towards shared spectrum to increase bandwidth for subscribers, Kathrein has developed a new 10 port quasi-omni canister antenna (p/n 84010555) that supports 4×4 MIMO and uses the same form factor as previous models. It therefore can easily be replaced with no rezoning required. The new canisters have the following specs:

• 4 ports at 1695-2690 Ghz on Y1/Y2 Arrays
• 4 ports at 3.5 ghz on Y3/Y4 Arrays
• 2 ports at 5.8 Ghz on Y5 Array
• 4.3-10 connectors
• 2X2 MIMO supported on Y5 Array
• 4×4 MIMO supported on Y1/Y2 and Y3/Y4 Arrays
