Wireless Supply, SOLiD Partner on a New Public Safety Product Line

Wireless Supply, based in Charlotte, NC, has introduced a new Public Safety product line called TruePath RESPONDER, designed to simplify deployment with a complete, code-compliant communications solution. The primary product is the Wireless Supply TruePath active distributed antenna system (DAS) developed in collaboration with SOLiD. Wireless Supply manufactures components for public safety and commercial iDAS, oDAS, and small cell systems. SOLiD, with U.S. headquarters in Plano, TX, focuses on providing wireless communication solutions, including DAS, to improve in-building and outdoor wireless coverage.

The TruePath RESPONDER Active DAS is being announced this week at the International Wireless Communications Expo in Las Vegas. This comprehensive system includes components necessary for providing Public Safety communications inside larger buildings or campuses. The solution consists of a bi-directional amplifier that provides signals to the DAS headend, scalable optical distribution, a PS2ROU DAS remote, a controller, battery backup, and an alarm annunciator. The company says this platform supports up to 32 remotes, ensuring reliable coverage throughout large buildings or multi-building campus environments.
