The 2025 Wireless West Conference closed yesterday at the iconic Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA. The event began with an energetic Day One filled with firsts, industry-leading keynotes, and an evening reception, setting the tone for the two-day event. New to this year’s conference was the inaugural Wireless West Bowling Tournament providing a blend of networking and fun. The day continued with an opening keynote from T-Mobile that drew a packed crowd.
“It’s great to be here at Wireless West, sharing the impact T-Mobile has made not only for our customers, but across the industry,” said Luis Reyes, VP Field Engineering Technology, West Region at T-Mobile. “As the leader in 5G, we’re constantly pushing the envelope — a journey we call ‘from challenger to champion’; In the five years since we launched nationwide 5G, we went from last to first by staying true to our core mission: delivering the best possible network experience at the best value. We’re looking to carry that ethos into the next generation of wireless networks with 5G Advanced, AI-RAN solutions, cloud networks and eventually 6G.”
Following Reyes, Patrick Halley, President and CEO of the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA), provided his insights saying, “The wireless industry is constantly evolving, innovating, and changing. WIA is delighted to be part of the conversation at Wireless West with the state wireless associations that are driving the discussion on what’s next for the West Coast and Rocky Mountain States, discussing challenges the region faces, and highlighting how we can collectively advance our industry to meet WIA’s mission of connectivity everywhere.”
Attendees gathered for an opening night reception hosted by Motive, which transformed the venue into a full-blown movie premiere. Guests walked the orange carpet with themed décor, photo ops, and a lively atmosphere.
