NATE Launches Insurance Benefits Portal for Members

With many companies faced with the prospect of renewing their insurance benefit options this fall, the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) announced Tuesday the official launch of a new program offering FREE insurance benefit technology and aggregated purchasing power for the association’s member companies.

The NATE BenPortal powered by Holmes Murphy, is structured in a manner that gives small businesses (2-300 employees) the kind of buying power with health, dental, vision, disability and other ancillary insurance options that big corporations have. By joining other healthy small businesses, the association’s member companies can offer their employees better benefit plans and perks at lower rates.

The process for the association’s member companies to obtain an insurance quote is simple. For example, NATE member companies can enter the portal, quickly load their information, and expect to receive a full quote proposal for the most competitive community rate available in their state within 72 hours. Additionally, member companies can elect to obtain a “beat the market”, level-funded health insurance rate by having their respective employees complete a secure, private and confidential health questionnaire directly on the portal.

The association’s member companies who ultimately elect to move forward also experience the convenience of a paperless process guided by a NATE BenPortal  associate by live chat, or by phone, culminating with the employee enrolling in their benefits on their smart phone, tablet or computer.

“The association is pleased to officially launch the NATE BenPortal site,” said Board of Directors member Kevin Dougherty from New Castle, DE. “Over the last several years, NATE has diligently explored options that would enable us to offer our small business members tangible, competitive insurance benefits and the BenPortal site provides a one-stop shop for companies to seek health, dental, vision, disability and other types of coverage.”
