Associated Tele-Networking Inc. Manages Assets for Clients

Associated Tele-Marketing Inc. provides its clients with turnkey asset management and investment recovery solutions. Services include warehousing, scrap disposition, logistics, installations and removal, and resale of parts and materials.

“We offer clients the opportunity to resell tower equipment or if there is no market for the equipment, we can recycle it for them,” said Bil Cameron, vice president sales and services. “We don’t build towers, we are strictly equipment folks. We work with all the major wireless carriers.”

Many of ATNI’s projects involve removing old equipment that is no longer viable. Some tower owners leave the old equipment on the tower, but Cameron says that is not usually a good solution. Power is still running to the equipment, and the old equipment takes up space where newer equipment could go. ATNI removes that old equipment and installs the new from towers as small as phone poles to towers on 22-story buildings that require a helicopter to help. Project managers and engineers visit every site before the project and upon project completion to make sure everything is up to standards. Removed equipment can be resold or recycled.

ATNI is R2 (responsible recycling standard) certified, which focuses on the performance of electronics recyclers. R2 certification requires hazardous electronic material, for instance batteries, be tracked from removal through downstream vendors.

Cameron said with all the mergers and acquisitions in the tower industry, business is good and as 3G is replaced by 5G, more equipment will be removed and replaced. Based in Aurora, Colo., most of ATNI’s projects are in the United States with some in Mexico and Canada. Contact: www.atni.us
