Breezeline Spends $82M In New Hampshire and West Virginia

Breezeline (formerly Atlantic Broadband) announced the completion of the construction phase of a two-pronged project, investing over $82 million across two states.The fiber expansion project involved five New Hampshire and six West Virginia towns.

The New Hampshire expansion is a 525-mile fiber network that reaches more than 45,000 homes and businesses in Somersworth, Madbury, Dover, Durham, and Concord. The West Virginia project covers 283 miles and serves 40,000 homes and businesses in Morgantown, Star City, Westover, Granville, Cheat Lake, and Brookhaven.

In February 2023, Breezeline completed a 150-mile fiber-broadband network — a $7.2 million project — serving more than 1,400 homes and businesses in Virginia. Breezeline used Virginia Telecommunications Initiative (VATI) funds to cover the costs for this project and has also been awarded additional VATI funds for ongoing work.
