The National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) is encouraging its members and drone operators to participate in this week’s FAA National Drone Safety Awareness Week. Everyone is welcome to participate in this week-long campaign and is encouraged to share their safety stories, successes, events, and educational programs. NATE encourages their members to use the #DroneWeek hashtag in your social media posts when sharing your National Drone Safety Awareness Week participation.

The National Drone Safety Awareness Week Stakeholder Playbook contains ideas and inspiration for anyone who would like to participate in National Drone Safety Awareness Week. The Playbook includes information, tips, and messages, by focus area, for your consideration to use on your digital channels, web content, events, and initiatives.

As part of NATE’s participation efforts, the association will host a live webinar entitled “Drones, Data, and Artificial Intelligence,” on Thursday, November 7 at 10 a.m. CST. 5×5 Technologies Chief Technology Officer Gary Gibson will conduct the webinar. This event will present a high-level overview of artificial intelligence and how it can be used to improve the efficiency and safe operation of drones while providing actionable intelligence from the data acquired by drones as well as insights on where the technology is going.
