OneVizion Names Gary D. Williamson as VP of Telecommunications Innovation

Gary D. Williamson has joined OneVizion, an information management platform provider for rapid data and application innovation for the telecom industry, government and other enterprise customers.

Most recently, as a principal for Vertix Consulting, Williamson helped clients such as MasTec, Crown, ATC and Sprint. Previous to this, he owned his own consulting firm with clients such as Uniti, Google Fiber and Sitetracker. 

He also held numerous senior positions for Nexius Solutions where he was responsible for the Software Solutions group, Sprint account, quality and safety, strategy and presales.  At Siterra Corp., he developed the strategic vision for the organization as well as leading Product Management and Product Development, Marketing, and Client Services.

At Wireless Facilities, Inc. as Vice President of National Program Management and Project Controls, he provided consulting services to Accenture for wireless carrier best business practices, including core and site development, and also created a national PMO for site delivery of 5,000 turnkey new-build sites for a major carrier.  Williamson also created and managed a new consulting business unit, Impact Consulting, for Epic Data International.

Williamson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas, served in the U.S. Navy where he began his career in technology and is a member of the Project Management Institute.
