Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Thursday, the U.S. won’t partner with or share information with countries that use Huawei technology in their wireless networks.

“We’re not going to put American information at risk,” he told Fox. The U.S. has been trying to ensure other countries, “understand the risk” associated with using Huawei gear, he added, according to Reuters.

The Trump administration, which has banned government use of Huawei products, has accused the tech firm of working for the Chinese government and having the ability to spy on American citizens. President Trump is reportedly considering signing an executive order that would ban U.S. companies from using equipment from the tech giant, reported The Hill.
