A tower worker who suffered a medical emergency Tuesday morning while working on the candelabra at the top of the pole was rescued by crews from multiple fire departments in La Vergne are, According to WKRN-TV the emergency rescue team used a bucket crane to reach the stricken climber on the 200-foot T-Mobile pole around 10:15 a.m.. The site is located off Stones River Road near Old Nashville Highway. The man was safely removed from the tower and was not taken to a nearby hospital, the fire department reported.
