Wildfire Update: Camp Fire is 100 Percent Contained

The fireline that was previously designated as “uncontained” has been stopped, with the California Wildfire Authority claiming it has the Camp Fire 100 percent under control.  Fire suppression repair personnel continue to conduct rehab where possible. Search and Rescue Crews, US&R Teams, and engine companies continue with search efforts. The northern CA fire has claimed 85 civilian lives and injured three firefighters.  Property damage destroyed by the flames totals 13,972 residences, 528 commercial buildings and 4,293 other buildings.

Inside Towers research of mapped ASR-registered sites in a 25 mile radius of Pulga, CA show 85 towers in total, with the top six site owners in the area as follows:

  • SBA: 15
  • American Tower: 10
  • Deer Creek Broadcasting: 8
  • State of California: 6
  • AT&T: 4
  • Crown Castle: 4

Fire suppression repair personnel continue conduct rehab where possible, according to the state emergency management services. Approximately 296 people are unaccounted for, according to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office. Search and Rescue crews, US&R Teams, and engine companies continue with search efforts.
