The Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA) hired Louis Peraertz as Vice President of Policy. In this role, Louis will work to advance WISPA’s causes before the FCC, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, and other federal agencies.

Prior to WISPA, Peraertz worked in several capacities at the FCC. For more than seven years, he was Senior Legal Advisor to former FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn in the areas of wireless, satellite, public safety, and international policies. Before the Commission, he worked as a federal appellate court litigator for the U.S. Department of Justice, and was also in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps.

“To navigate through the never-settled seas of Washington policy, we need a strong individual at the helm,” stated WISPA President/CEO Claude Aiken. “Louis’ vast experience in crafting agency policy, combined with his advocacy skills as a litigator, will allow WISPA to chart the right course through the tumult, helping our 800 members and the fixed wireless industry successfully get to where they need to go.”
