Galtronics Expands into European Antenna Market

Galtronics has expanded into the European market after signing multiple deals with wireless carriers and systems integrators for its patented multibeam antennas to handle capacity needs in advance of several major events.

“Based on the performance of our multibeam antennas across the U.S. and Canada, we’ve seen strong demand from European wireless carriers and systems integrators who are embracing our technology,” said Whit Martin, Galtronics Wireless Infrastructure VP.   

Galtronics’ multibeam antennas were installed throughout Lisbon, Portugal, in advance of the Pope’s upcoming visit for World Youth Day, August 2 – 6, 2023 where 400,000 are expected to gather. At Phoenix Park in Dublin, Ireland, antennas were also deployed in advance of the Bord Bia Bloom festival, June 1-5, 2024, which will draw 120,000 attendees. Additionally, the antennas have been deployed at Slane Castle, just north of Dublin, Ireland in advance of the Harry Styles concert on June 10, 2024, to support the communications of the 80,000 concert goers in attendance.

An Italian wireless carrier has also enhanced capacity and coverage at various concert venues in Rome and Milan.
