Kentucky County Seek Suspects in Tower Wiring Thefts
The Pulaski County, KY Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects linked to a series of thefts and vandalism incidents targeting communications towers in the region. Officials said telephone wiring has been stolen or damaged at multiple sites, causing service disruptions in southern Pulaski and northern McCreary counties.
AT&T has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The company said vandalism damaged equipment serving three cell towers in McCreary County, disrupting service for customers and potentially affecting public safety communications. Repairs are underway as authorities continue investigating the incidents.
