Richard Cane has been named Senior Vice President, International Operations for SBA. Prior to joining SBA, Cane was Senior Consultant with Smart Aerial Solutions, in Kansas City, where he advised municipalities and multiple start-ups to develop businesses related to 5G and mmW antenna communications, intelligent transport systems, wireline network transformations, fiber broadband, and smart cities.
Before that, Cane worked for Ericsson as VP Field Service Operations in Plano, Texas and COO-Sprint Managed Services, where he led telecom managed services contracts of approximately 6,000 domestic and international employees supporting network operations, field services, network deployment and access services for Sprint’s nationwide wireless and fiber networks in North America. Cane is a graduate of Bucknell University earning a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and of the New York Institute of Technology.
