Sprint Sparks 17 More Markets

Sprint has launched their Spark network in 17 additional cities, bringing the total to 46. Spark is the name given to the carrier’s tri-band LTE offering, which promises downlink speeds of 50-60 Mbps. Sprint expects to have 100 million people covered by the end of the year. According to Ben Munson at Wireless Week, “The new markets set to enjoy Sprint’s faster LTE network are: Bay City, MI; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Denver, CO; Flint, MI; Henderson, NC; Midland, MI; Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN; Mount Vernon, OH; New Philadelphia, OH; Odgen, UT; Sacramento, CA; Saginaw, MI; Seattle, WA; Sheboygan, WI; Tiffin, OH; and Youngstown, OH.”
